From the CrowdControl app select “PC - Dark Souls III” and hit “Start”.
Start up Dark Souls 3, and wait for the game to load.
To revert the mod and get your vanilla characters back, just remove dinput8.dll from the \Game directory.
The mod we apply prevents you from using your vanilla characters with CrowdControl and prevents you from using modded characters on vanilla (with online play).
You may notice an error message while the game “Checks network connection status…” which is normal.
It will take a few mins for the game to fully boot.
